This role offers a range of responsibilities, from managing patient records to assisting with scheduling and billing. If you enjoy multitasking and engaging in different types of tasks throughout the day, this position provides ample opportunities for growth and development. As a front office medical receptionist, you play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive the care they need. By efficiently managing administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service, you contribute to the overall well-being of patients. You'll collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
This is a full-time, Temporary to Hire position that offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Duties
- Check-in patients and update patient demographics when necessary; collect patient payments and post in patient accounts.
- Verify patient insurance and obtain all relevant information to ensure proper billing.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; and verifying receipts.
- Assist with scheduling; verify times with patients; prepare charts, pre-admission, and consent forms.
- Consistently, accurately, and independently prioritize and complete office assignments within office guidelines.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay: $16.00hr-$18.00/hr based upon experience
